The Lies And How We Told Them was led by Robert Raths - founder of the hugely successful label Erased Tapes Records.
Based in London and Kent, the band was a four-piece fusion of indie, progressive and experimental rock. 'Kooky German' frontman Robert Raths was apparently so dedicated to the cause that he was known to replace his head with a fully functioning TV set on stage. The band was described as having a sound that echoed Radiohead, Sigur Rös, Jeff Buckley and maybe a bit of Arcade Fire.
But the big, and most collectable, thing about Signpost is that it's the first to bear the Erased Tapes name and catalogue number: this is ERATP1.
