Volume 1 starts with the apocalyptic balance of Battalion featuring the vocal talents of Miss Red. An intensely ravishing track that builds in complexity until breaking out into a crushing trap number, neon-lit synths lighting the way through endlessly darkened rain-soaked streets which Gaika often explores.
The Riches takes a decidedly lighter tone with Gaika's voice taking center stage, yet consistently fading into the background while the textures crash together like the digitized molecules of a thousand classic R'n'B MP3's.
